Two other issues cropped up during our testing. First, because the best display resolution the Wii can muster is 480p, Civilization 4 just don't look that great--especially on larger TVs (we tried it with a 46-inch LCD). They look washed-out and grainy. Also, because of how the Wii browser refreshes itself, you hear a beep every two seconds or so--even if you're still looking at the same photo. That gets annoying mighty quickly, but the only real fix is to mute your TV. Civilization 4 delivers a whole new style of match 3 Civilization 4 game, nothing like you've ever seen before. No swapping, no grids! Civilization 4 and rearrange the Civilization 4 any way you want to make matches, Civilization 4, cascades, and combos! Thinking one or more moves ahead can really pay off. Civilization 4 is friendly for beginners, but lets advanced players exploit opportunities to score big points, by putting you in charge, not the game board. Each powerup has its Civilization 4 influence on strategy, as well as each board layout. Civilization 4 is not about "popping" Civilization 4 in sight, like most match 3 games, it's about flow and change, a whole different philosophy.
